Security Guard Services for Portage County Courthouse

The Portage County is seeking a qualified contractor to provide unarmed security guard services for the Portage County Courthouse. The services include maintaining control of the building's single point of access, verifying visitors and employees, responding to incidents, and providing daily operating reports. The contractor will be required to provide one unarmed security guard during standard hours of operation, Monday through Friday, from 7am to 5pm. The contract term is expected to be from the date of award through December 31st, 2029, with the option to renew for an additional 3 years. • The contractor must have been engaged in the business of providing security guard services for at least 1 year. • All assigned security guards must possess valid permits, licenses, and professional credentials necessary to perform the services. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance and maintain minimum limits specified for the term of the contract. • The contractor must provide uniforms and weather-appropriate protective clothing for security personnel. • The contractor must maintain accurate records of assigned personnel, including training, registration, and licenses.
