Request for Proposal Security Services

The Hall County Library System (HCLS) is seeking competitive sealed proposals for a one‑year contract to provide unarmed security guard services at its Gainesville Branch Library, with the option to renew for four additional one‑year terms. The contractor must supply a uniformed guard seven days a week during library operating hours, patrol both interior and exterior areas, enforce patron conduct policies, provide incident reporting, and advise staff on security matters. All management, labor, uniforms, equipment, licensing, insurance, and training are the contractor’s responsibility. Proposals must be submitted in paper and digital form by 3:00 PM on November 5, 2026, with questions due by October 19, 2026.
