Description
The Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) seeks a board‑certified cardiologist to provide consulting services for the California Cardiovascular Outcomes Reporting Program (CCORP). The consultant will interpret STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database elements, review operative reports, support statistical modeling, assist with audits, and deliver training webinars and videos. Expected effort is 60‑80 hours per year over a three‑year contract, with monthly invoicing and required compliance with stringent data‑security and confidentiality standards.
• Provide clinical interpretation of cardiac registry data and assist HCAI staff with queries (≤3‑day response).
• Review and evaluate hospital operative reports and other medical records related to CABG surgeries.
• Deliver annual virtual training sessions, version‑change webinars, and participate in up to two Clinical Advisory Panel meetings per year.
