Community Center Security Camera Upgrade

The City of Ames is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide and install interior security cameras at the City Hall Community Center. The project aims to expand the current coverage areas, including adding additional cameras and providing better surveillance for the space. The selected contractor will be required to conduct a site visit, provide and install all cameras and associated equipment, obtain necessary permits and licensing, and submit a total cost of the project. The contractor will also be required to provide a maintenance and service plan for all installed equipment. Key considerations include suitability of the proposed solution, maintenance and warranty, project timeline, and proposed cost. • The project requires a minimum storage capacity of 30 days. • All equipment shall carry a minimum one-year warranty. • All cameras shall be integrated into the City of Ames Milestone system. • The installer shall be Milestone certified. • All cameras shall be Axis brand or approved equal. • The contractor shall provide a detailed description of products, camera type, and equipment proposed. • The contractor shall provide a proposed timeline and implementation plan for project completion.
