RFQ Health Professions

The University of North Dakota is seeking an Architectural/Engineering (A/E) firm to provide design services for the addition to the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The project aims to modernize and expand the Health Professions infrastructure, promoting interprofessional education and collaboration among various health professional students. The selected A/E firm will be responsible for space assessment, programming, design services, cost estimating, and other related tasks. The project has a tentative timeline, with RFQ documents released on October 22, 2025, and a closing date of November 13, 2025. • The project requires an A/E firm with experience in higher education health professions, particularly in academic medicine and medical and nursing school environments. • The firm should have a minimum of 10 years of experience and provide three reference letters for similar projects. • The project involves a four-story addition to the existing School of Medicine and Health Sciences, with a total area of approximately 120,000-130,000 GSF. • The project requires the design of a simulated hospital, clinical skills lab, and research lab, as well as the incorporation of additional parking. • The selected firm will be required to provide a comprehensive narrative statement illustrating their understanding of the project requirements, deliverables, and contract terms and conditions.
