On Call Architect Review Services

The City of Tucson is seeking multiple qualified consultants to provide On Call Architect Review Services for miscellaneous projects. The selected consultants will review development proposals, provide design guidance, and assist staff in developing design-related policies and ordinances. The ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of experience practicing architecture and teaching experience. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for two additional two-year periods. The City will pay the consultant based on negotiated hourly rates, with a total not-to-exceed fee amount to be determined. • Review development proposals for various projects • Provide design guidance and recommendations to staff and applicants • Assist in developing design-related policies and ordinances • Attend review meetings and public meetings to share feedback and facilitate discussion • Provide constructive feedback to applicants regarding project design
