The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from industry for a sources sought notice to upgrade 25 ceiling lift systems at the Bedford VA Medical Center. The contractor must provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, software, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the upgrade. The lifts must have a scale internal to the motor, a hand control with a screen to display weight and other information, and must be able to lift at a speed of 2.2 inches per second or better. The contractor must also provide training and installation services. Key aspects of the project include: • Upgrade of 25 ceiling lift systems, including motor, rails, and infrastructure • Installation and configuration of the lifts • Training for operating clinicians • Compliance with VA security and privacy policies • Adherence to the Performance Work Statement and contract requirements Interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must submit company information, performance capability, and socio-economic status.
