The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is issuing a Sources Sought Notice to gauge market capability for 24 × 7, year‑round operations, maintenance, and technical support of the Search and Rescue Satellite‑Aided Tracking (SARSAT) United States Mission Control Center (USMCC). The effort includes operating remote satellite receiving stations, managing the national 406 MHz emergency beacon database, providing help‑desk and quality‑assurance services, coordinating with domestic and international partners, and ensuring compliance with stringent IT‑security and NIST standards. The contract will be a base‑year award with up to four one‑year options, requiring personnel with Secret clearances and expertise in legacy Windows‑server environments, network hardware, database administration, and programmatic support for international SAR initiatives. An optional cloud‑migration task order may be added later if funding permits.
