Training Services fir Deaf & Hard of Hearing Audiences: Specialized Topics and Specific Trainer Skil

The Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is seeking a trainer or trainers to provide a training on how to give constructive diagnostic feedback to the Screening Evaluator Team. The training will be conducted remotely on a Zoom platform and will require two half days or two full days, depending on the approach and style of the trainer(s). The goal of the training is for the Screening Program Evaluator Team to acquire the skills to evaluate MCDHH’s screening candidates effectively, providing the screening candidates with immediate constructive, encouraging, and supportive feedback. • The training will be conducted in ASL to be equally accessible to all evaluators. • The trainer(s) will provide resources and tools to MCDHH’s Screening Program Evaluators to provide constructive feedback. • The application consists of a Letter of Interest, a Resume, and optional additional information. • The evaluation will include an assessment of the Letter of Interest, the Resume, and the results of a conversational interview. • The evaluation criterion will be “Best Value,” in accordance with Operational Service Division guiding regulation.
