The Commonwealth of Virginia’s Office of the Attorney General is seeking private‑practice attorneys with expertise in social‑media litigation to advise, represent, and support the OAG on potential claims against social‑media platforms. The work will include claim analysis, development of legal theories, litigation support, advisory calls, document review, training of in‑house attorneys, monitoring of legal developments, and special projects as directed by the Office of General Counsel. • Analyze viability of claims and quantify potential relief against social‑media companies. • Provide telephone/email advice, informal document reviews, and formal written opinions as needed. • Assist with pleading preparation, appellate work, and any special projects coordinated through the OGC. • Deliver training to Assistant Attorneys General and keep the OAG informed of legal developments. • Compete for the award under a micro‑business set‑aside, with competitive contingent‑fee pricing.
