Workforce Training & Contractor Development Services

The City of Jackson is seeking proposals for workforce training and contractor development services. The program aims to provide training and certification in clean energy and resilience jobs, as well as support services for contractors. The program will serve 40 participants in the GreenWorks track and 75 participants in the C2: Connect & Compete track. Proposers may respond to one or both tracks, and to one or more lots within a track. The proposal should include a detailed curriculum outline, implementation approach, and cost proposal. • The GreenWorks track will provide training in HVAC and electrical fundamentals, as well as a specialized bootcamp in energy auditing and weatherization. • The C2: Connect & Compete track will provide training in licensure and certification support, business development, financial readiness, life and durable skills, and market access and mentorship. • The program will include recruitment and outreach, intake and orientation, core training, bootcamp, and certification exams. • The proposer should have experience in delivering similar services and should provide references. • The proposal should include a cost proposal that reflects the full participant and cohort counts specified in the RFP.
