Dirt Street Paving Project

The City of Waycross is seeking sealed bids to fully pave a series of designated dirt streets throughout the municipality. The contract will cover all materials, labor, equipment, and related work required to convert the listed streets from unpaved to asphalt surface, including sub‑grade preparation, drainage improvements, curb & gutter, traffic control, and final surface restoration. Bids must be submitted by the deadline and are subject to standard city procurement rules; only bidders who obtain a certified bid package from the City Engineer will be considered. • Scope includes paving of Cleo, Coachman, Mary, Montgomery, Osceola, Shadowlawn, and Upchurch Streets. • Required work: mobilization/demobilization, selective demolition, subgrade/base prep, hot‑mix asphalt paving, concrete curb & gutter where needed, ditch/channel drainage, grade adjustments at utilities, traffic control, surface restoration. • Bids to be sealed, delivered or mailed to Purchasing Director Mamie Jackson at City Hall. • Non‑refundable fee of $300 for printed bid documents; electronic copies available free of charge. • No bid withdrawals allowed for 60 days after submission. • City reserves right to delete items or reject non‑responsive bids.
