Sodium Hypochlorite 12%-15% (NaOCL)

The City of Shelton is seeking competitive bids for the delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite 12%-15% (NaOCL) in bulk. The prospective bidders shall have the capacity to deliver a minimum load of 5000 gallons for each delivery. The City uses approximately 15,000 to 20,000 gallons per season. The bid shall be effective from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Key aspects of the job include: • Delivering Sodium Hypochlorite 12%-15% (NaOCL) in bulk • Minimum load of 5000 gallons per delivery • Delivery by tanker truck using standard "cam lock" technology • Driver responsible for ensuring delivery into the holding tank and supplying necessary equipment • Alternate pricing for delivery of approximately 1600 gallons per order, dispensed into supplied 275-gallon totes The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informality to technicalities of proposals, or to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Shelton.
