Vibroacoustic, Vibration, and Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMI/EMC) Mobile Test Capabilities

The Texas Space Commission is seeking information on mobile technologies for vibroacoustic environment evaluation, specifically electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, at existing facilities in Texas. The commission is interested in identifying highly qualified manufacturers capable of advanced specs for testing spaceflight hardware. Respondents must demonstrate experience working with NASA or on a NASA program or NASA-approved/accepted test campaign. The information gathered will be used to improve the State's understanding of anticipated cost and schedule, barriers to meeting contemplated requirements, developmental systems, existing chamber assets, industry capability, and technical readiness. • The scope of the project includes EMI/EMC testing, but is not limited to it. • Respondents should address the full vibroacoustic and mobile-technology scope authorized by the Board. • The commission is interested in mobile technologies, distributed capabilities, and credible Texas-based testing facilities. • Fixed-asset technology concepts may not be described for comparison. • The project requires a high level of technical maturity and expertise in EMI/EMC testing and spaceflight hardware. • Respondents must provide documentary evidence of successful prior NASA environmental verification or test-infrastructure work. • The project has a narrow focus on respondents that can clearly demonstrate the capability and technical maturity needed to identify EMI/EMC mobile technologies that can specifically support environmental testing of space cargo.
