Sand Harbor Non -Motorized Watersports Concession

The State of Nevada Purchasing Division on behalf of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide watercraft rentals of non-motorized watercraft to park visitors at Sand Harbor State Park. The concession will provide kayak and stand-up paddleboard paddle-sport equipment, and accessories, to the visitors of Sand Harbor at both per hour and per day rates. The successful proposal will lead to a revenue-generating concession lease with the State of Nevada. • The concession will be located at Sand Harbor State Park, which offers long sandy beaches, rocky coves, and panoramic lake views. • The park is a day-use facility and is open year-round, with a five-year average annual visitation of 906,505 visitors. • The concessionaire will be responsible for promoting a safe, enjoyable, and high-quality experience for a variety of visitors at the park. • The concessionaire will be required to provide high-quality, reliable, and safe equipment, as well as a knowledgeable and friendly staff. • The concessionaire will be responsible for collecting rental fees and tracking equipment. • The concessionaire will be required to promote Sand Harbor and its water sport services through modern channels, such as a dedicated website.
