Sand Harbor Sleigh Rides

The State of Nevada’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is seeking a qualified vendor to operate horse‑drawn sleigh and carriage rides at Sand Harbor State Park (and optionally at two additional park sites) during the winter/off‑season months. The contract is a four‑year revenue‑sharing agreement with two one‑year renewal options, where the vendor must provide all horses, sleighs, equipment, staffing, insurance, and compliance with animal‑welfare and safety standards. The vendor will report monthly gross receipts and receive a negotiated percentage of those receipts, with a minimum 10 % share required. • Operate and maintain sleigh rides (minimum two sleighs, 2‑4 passenger capacity) on wheels or rails, including all horse care, waste removal, and equipment. • Provide optional concession sales, marketing, reservation systems, and required reporting; adhere to strict animal‑welfare, safety, and insurance requirements. • Contract term is 4 years starting 02/09/2027, with optional one‑year extensions, and the State will pay the vendor a share of gross ride revenues.
