Washington State University is seeking an experienced advertising consulting firm to manage all aspects of print advertising sales and management for Washington State Magazine, with an optional digital advertising component. The contractor will develop sales strategies, maintain a sales pipeline, coordinate ad placement, and provide regular performance reporting while earning commission on advertising revenue. • Manage advertising sales for three annual print issues (Jan, May, Aug) and optional digital ads. • Deliver a sales strategy plan within ~30 days, monthly pipeline and performance reports, and quarterly strategic‑review meetings. • Compensation is strictly commission‑based on an estimated $65,000 first‑year ad spend; no advance payments or guaranteed fees. • Contract term is 1 year with up to five optional one‑year renewals at WSU’s discretion. • Vendor must be able to contract with a Washington state agency and possess prior magazine advertising consulting experience.
