Description
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is requesting an exemption from competition for the purchase of Gainwell software support, maintenance, and upgrades. The department requires ongoing support for the current Immunization Reminder Information System (IRIS) platform while they procure a new platform. The exemption is requested for a period of three years, until a new software platform can be procured and implemented. The department estimates that the transition to a new platform will take at least 2.5 to 3 years, and they must ensure a stable current product and relationship with the current vendor, Gainwell Technologies, LLC.
Key aspects of this opportunity include:
• The department requires ongoing support for the current IRIS platform, including hosting, maintenance, and new functionality.
• The system developed by Gainwell Technologies, LLC is a proprietary system, and maintenance, support, and upgrades can only be performed by Gainwell Technologies, LLC, or the warranty will be voided.
• The department must maintain all current services while also being in line with the current platform, programs, and software utilized by the department to benefit providers and other IRIS users, as well as the state of Idaho as a whole.
