DPS Post 2 Parking Lot Replacement

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services for the replacement of the parking lot at the Department of Public Safety Post 2. The project includes design development documents, construction documents, and construction administration. The selected firm will be responsible for providing complete construction drawings and specifications, attending design kick-off meetings, and collaborating with the geotechnical investigation. • The project requires a lump sum pricing with a breakdown of costs for design development documents, construction documents, bidding or negotiation assistance, and construction phase. • The selected firm will be required to provide a copy of their organizational chart and describe their experience with similar projects. • The project has a tentative design kick-off meeting scheduled for the week of April 7th, 2026, and a contractor bidding phase scheduled for July 2026. • The project requires compliance with all Federal, State, and applicable AHJ codes. • The selected firm will be responsible for providing field observation reports and participating in bi-weekly conference calls during the construction period.
