Montana RTAP Services

The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified firm to provide Montana Rural Transportation Assistance Program Services, including training, technical assistance, research, and other related support services for transit providers in non-urban areas. The selected vendor will be responsible for designing and implementing these services, with the goal of promoting safe and effective delivery of public transportation in rural areas. Key services include project management, driver training, transit manager training, information and resource center website, scholarship program, specialized training, and event coordination. The contract term is expected to be one year, with the possibility of extension for up to four additional years. • The vendor must have experience and expertise in providing transit technical assistance, training, consultation, and research. • The vendor must have a thorough knowledge of USDOT FTA transit regulations. • The vendor will be responsible for developing task orders for additional services, including specialized training and technical assistance. • The vendor will be required to collaborate with the Montana Transit Association and other contractors to provide MT RTAP Services. • The vendor will be responsible for providing ongoing tasks, including project management, driver training, and transit manager training. • The vendor will be required to develop and implement special project initiatives as needed.
