The Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration, Office of Statewide Strategic Sourcing, is establishing a five‑year Pre‑Approved Vendor List (PVL) for Professional Nursing Services. State agencies will be able to contract directly with vendors on the list without a separate competitive bid. Vendors may bid on one or more of five nursing categories (Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant) and may serve any of eight geographic regions of the state. Bids are submitted as hourly rates (standard, weekend, holiday, hazard, travel) and are fixed for the five‑year term. The contract is an indefinite‑quantity, requirements‑type agreement; agencies request hours as needed and pay only for hours worked. Vendors must meet credential, licensing, experience, insurance, background‑check, and staffing‑availability requirements and must provide 24/7 contact coverage. The solicitation opens August 4 2026, questions are due August 18 2026, bids close September 10 2026, and award is anticipated October 29 2026. The PVL becomes effective December 2 2026 and remains active through November 30 2031.
