PRE-QUAL FOR CHEMICALS, PURCHASE & DELIVERY

Palm Beach County is establishing a pre‑qualified vendor list for the purchase and delivery of a broad range of chemicals (fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, dyes, pigments, adjuvants). Once pre‑qualified, vendors will receive periodic “as‑needed” RFQs for specific quantities and delivery dates. The contract is a term agreement; the County will award individual orders to the lowest responsive, responsible vendor after applying any local or S/M/WBE preferences. Vendors must be registered in the County’s Vendor Self‑Service system, provide all required licenses, certifications, safety data sheets, and comply with extensive nondiscrimination, security, and public‑records requirements. No guaranteed volume is promised; work is awarded on a project‑by‑project basis. • Pre‑qualification submission due Dec 15 2022 4 PM (sealed, signed response). • Must be a registered vendor in Palm Beach County’s VSS system; all subcontractors also required to be registered. • Supplies include fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, dyes/pigments, adjuvants. • County will issue separate price‑quote requests for each need; award based on lowest total offer after preferences. • Compliance with ANSI, NFPA, safety data sheet (SDS) requirements mandatory. • Preference given to local (Palm Beach County) and Glades businesses; S/M/WBE participation encouraged. • No fixed contract value; vendors compete for each order.
