The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting offers for approximately 7,314 square feet of commercial retail/office space in Indianapolis, IN. The space will be used for an Armed Forces Career Center and must meet specific requirements, including having a secondary egress, adequate parking, and daytime janitorial services. The lessor must be registered and active in www.sam.gov prior to the deadline for final offer submission. • The leased premises must comply with all Federal, State, and local construction standards, building codes, and other applicable laws. • The lessor is responsible for coordinating with the COE in the development of architectural and engineering plans. • The construction specifications include requirements for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as security and communication systems. • The lessor must provide a completed Rental Proposal Worksheet, proof of registration in www.sam.gov, and the existing floor plan. • The lease will be negotiated for a 5-year term, but the Government can terminate with reasonable notice.
