2026 RANKIN FIRST OFFSITE SEWER IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Brandon is soliciting qualified contractors to provide a General Construction contract for the installation of approximately 6,700 linear feet of 18‑inch gravity sewer pipe, associated manholes, connections, and all necessary appurtenances to complete the Rankin First Offsite Sewer Improvements project. The work must be performed in accordance with the project drawings and specifications, and the contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, and materials. The contract period is stipulated at 210 consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per day for late completion. • Install ~6,700 ft of 18” gravity sewer pipe and related infrastructure (manholes, connections, appurtenances). • Provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision required for the full scope. • Submit sealed bids (duplicate) by May 15, 2026 10:00 AM CDT; bid security of 5% required. • Must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and provide a Certificate of Responsibility and Mississippi Contractor’s License. • Minority‑ and woman‑owned businesses are encouraged to bid as prime contractors.
