2026 Water and Wastewater - Capital Improvements Plan - Phase #1

The City of Farmers Branch is soliciting bids for Phase 1 of its 2026 Water & Wastewater Capital Improvements Plan. The scope includes installation of approximately 2,962 ft of 8‑in. PVC water line (open cut), 3,400 ft of 12‑in. water line (open cut), 2,396 ft of 8‑in. water line (pipe bursting), 2,438 ft of 8‑in. water line (pipe bursting), 4,366 ft of 10‑in. SDR‑19 IPS sanitary sewer line (pipe bursting), 24 manholes (5‑ft diameter), and about 3,812 sq yd of 10‑in. reinforced concrete pavement, plus all associated appurtenances, site restoration, and post‑installation CCTV inspections. Bidders must submit a sealed proposal, a 5 % bid bond, and be prepared to furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds (each 100 % of contract price).
