Broadcast Server

The State of Arkansas is seeking a contractor to provide a broadcast server and related support services for the Arkansas Public Broadcasting System (AR-PBS). The server must be able to replace the existing 7000 Series Spectrum currently in use by AR-PBS and must meet specific technical requirements, including the ability to interface with multiple Media Asset Management (MAM) systems and support various video and audio formats. The contractor must also provide installation, commissioning, and training services. • The broadcast server must be provisioned with Media Studio software and have fully mirrored and redundant hardware. • The server must be able to record, replay, and store various file formats, including MPEG2 and MPEG4. • The contractor must provide a proposed installation and commissioning plan, including a timeline and estimated hours of effort for each task. • The contractor must also provide training for AR-PBS staff on the use of the server and its software.
