Sheriff Emergency Equipment Supplier

The Boone County Fiscal Court is seeking a qualified firm to purchase, install, and integrate emergency equipment, and to furnish and apply vehicle decals, for the Sheriff Department's pursuit cruisers. The contract will cover the period from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with the option to renew for up to two additional years. The selected firm will be responsible for installing various equipment, including lighting packages, push bumpers, Pro-Gard partitions, and Havis center consoles, on seventeen marked and three unmarked patrol units. The firm will also be required to provide a one-year warranty for installation work and have an EVT-L1 Certified Emergency Vehicle Technician on staff. Some key requirements for the project include: • Installation of emergency equipment on seventeen marked and three unmarked patrol units • Provision of a one-year warranty for installation work • Employment of an EVT-L1 Certified Emergency Vehicle Technician • Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations • Provision of insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, auto liability, workers' compensation, and employer's liability • Submission of a complete set of specifications, drawings, and information for all hardware and materials used to establish the proposed pricing
