MacArthur Mall Liquidation Services

The City of Norfolk is seeking a contractor to provide liquidation services for the MacArthur Mall, a 1.2 million square foot retail space. The contractor will be responsible for selling all assets "as is" and "where is" with all faults and without warranties. The scope of work includes category determination, cataloging and photography, marketing and advertisement, online and onsite auction management, load-out and removal, and security and reconciliation. The contract is expected to last through March 2027. * Key responsibilities include: * Determining the most efficient means of dividing assets into auctionable lots * Cataloging and photographing all assets deemed auctionable * Marketing and advertising the auction through various channels * Managing the online and onsite auction process * Coordinating load-out and removal of purchased items * Providing security and reconciliation services
