The City of Wakefield is soliciting bids for a wastewater treatment improvement project that includes extensive site grading, pipe installation, pump station construction, and associated infrastructure. This project is aimed at enhancing the city’s wastewater treatment capacity and environmental compliance, with a mix of civil and utility work.
• Grading of 19 acres of new wetlands.
• Installation of 5,635 linear ft of 6‑inch SDR‑21 forcemain.
• Construction of a new duplex pump station.
• Placement of 2,030 tons of 6‑inch D50 rock rip‑rap for erosion control.
• Installation of 6,294 linear ft of perimeter fencing.
