Design and Construction Administration for Lift Station, Water & Sewer Improvements at the Tidewater

The McIntosh County Industrial Development Authority (MCIDA) seeks a qualified engineering firm to assess and design upgrades for an existing lift station that currently lacks essential electrical and pump equipment, and to develop design plans and documentation for a fully functional lift station. The scope also includes expanding existing water and sewer pipelines to meet future demand. The contractor will be responsible for engineering evaluations, design development, construction administration, and coordination with MCIDA staff throughout the project lifecycle. • Evaluate existing lift‑station conditions and identify required mechanical, electrical, and civil upgrades. • Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and permit‑ready documentation. • Design and size new pumps, motors, and associated control systems. • Develop plans for expanding water and sewer lines, including hydraulic analysis. • Provide construction‑administration services, including sub‑contractor coordination, site inspections, and progress reporting. • Attend an optional offerors’ conference on Sep 02, 2026 (GA, Darien).
