Description
The Town of Greensboro, Vermont is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide wastewater engineering services. The selected firm will support site evaluation, permitting-related review, financial analysis, and related implementation planning. The town is looking for a firm that can bring both technical expertise and creative problem-solving to a more incremental and modular approach. The firm should have experience with small villages facing similar environmental and infrastructure challenges and be willing to explore innovative, modular, and phased wastewater solutions. Key responsibilities include:
• Understanding the land, soil, and siting constraints common in Greensboro and the Northeast Kingdom
• Familiarity with public and private land acquisition or leasing strategies for proposed septic systems
• Experience with small villages facing similar environmental and infrastructure challenges
• Willingness to explore innovative, modular, and phased wastewater solutions
• Support for site evaluation, permitting-related review, financial analysis, and related implementation planning
