Description
The County seeks a single prime contractor (or lead vendor with subcontractors) to design‑build an immersive audiovisual experience inside the existing “Sensory Treehouse” at the Gwinnett County Environmental & Heritage Center. The scope combines full media production (≈30‑minute immersive film with multilingual narration, captioning, and optional chaptered content) and high‑end AV system integration (dome or LED projection, spatial audio, control systems, lighting, acoustic treatment, HVAC, structural modifications, and complete commissioning). The contractor must also provide project management, warranties, bonding, insurance, and all required permits.
• Design‑build of immersive media (production, editing, animation, sound, captioning) and AV hardware (projectors, speakers, control, networking).
• Integration of building‑level modifications (electrical, HVAC, structural framing, acoustic treatment) and compliance with code, safety, and ADA requirements.
• Deliverables include detailed shop drawings, operation manuals, a 1‑year warranty, and full commissioning within a 10‑month schedule starting Dec 2026.
