Propane Delivery and Fueling for City Wide Agencies

The City of Indianapolis and Marion County is seeking quotes for propane delivery and fueling services for city-wide agencies. The contract will be for a term of two years, with the option to renew. The City is looking for a vendor to provide propane fuel for converted city vehicles, with a minimum of 90% propane content. The vendor will be required to provide a 1,000-gallon skid-mounted tank system and approved dispensing equipment for the city's Riverside location, as well as potentially two additional locations. The vendor will also be required to provide tank top-off/fill-up fuel delivery service every two weeks, or as needed. • The City is exempt from federal excise tax and Indiana state sales tax, but must pay the Indiana state road tax. • The vendor will be required to provide a monthly "Statement of Accounts" for payment and verification. • The vendor will be required to record vehicle number, mileage, gallons, and date dispensed for each refueling transaction. • The City may purchase additional products and services from the contractor at the original submitted price, provided they do not materially differ from the original product. • The contract may be terminated by either party with 10 days' written notice.
