Request For Information - DOJ Restacking and Rightsizing Project

The Oregon Department of Justice is seeking professional space planning services to restack and rightsize 15 buildings across Oregon. The project aims to optimize space utilization, reduce vacant/surplus space, and consolidate where appropriate. The selected vendor will be required to analyze the spaces, resize down to 6 by 8-foot spaces if possible, and work with division leadership to figure out the next steps of restacking and rightsizing. The project has several objectives, including rightsizing, restacking, standardization, cost and phasing, compliance and safety, and sustainability and wellbeing. • The project involves 15 buildings statewide, with a mix of owned and leased properties. • The vendor will be required to provide a comprehensive solution, including space planning, design, and implementation. • The project will involve multiple phases, including discovery and assessment, programming and test fits, restacking and phasing plans, and implementation support. • The vendor will be required to provide various deliverables, including assessment reports, existing conditions drawings, utilization and adjacency analysis, and cost estimates.
