Notice of Adoption - DEC Regulations Pertaining to the Repeal of Laser Protection Standards, 18 AAC 85

This notice announces that the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation has adopted new regulations (18 AAC 85.670 – 18 AAC 85.730) that repeal existing laser protection standards. The regulations were approved by the Department of Law, signed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on October 9 2026, and become effective on November 8 2026. The changes will be published in Register 260, January 2027, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
