S--BISO Cyclic Clearing of Leatherwood Road Corridor

The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to perform cyclic clearing of the Leatherwood Road Corridor in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The project involves removing encroaching vegetation and hazard trees to improve safety, maintain access, and protect park infrastructure. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials necessary to perform the work. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days of the notice to proceed. Key aspects of the project include: • Maintaining a 45-foot horizontal and 20-foot vertical clearance along the roadway corridor • Removing hazard trees that pose a risk to the roadway, vehicles, pedestrians, or infrastructure • Disposing of debris in a manner that does not create hazards or disturb the natural surroundings • Coordinating daily operations with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) • Complying with all safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA laws.
