DJJ- Legal Services- Hearing Officers FY 27

The Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking qualified individuals and organizations to provide legal services as hearing officers for administrative processes. The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting probable cause hearings and supervised placement revocation hearings. The contract is expected to start on July 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2028, with the possibility of renewal for up to two years. The vendor must have experience in juvenile law and be able to travel to detention facilities and local community offices. • Must be licensed to practice law in Kentucky • Must have experience as a hearing officer and in juvenile law • Must be able to provide services in multiple counties • Must be able to conduct hearings in-person or electronically • Must be able to provide proof of registration with the Secretary of State
