RFQ for Neutron Generator Tube

The United States Naval Academy is seeking to procure a Neutron Generator Tube to replace the inoperable part for the Thermo Fisher Scientific D711 DT Neutron Generator. The objectives of this procurement are to purchase a new Neutron Generator Tube, install the tube, conduct training with nucleonics laboratory personnel, and remove and place the old Neutron Generator Tube within the USNA in Rickover Hall. • The replacement tube must contain less than 14 Curies of H-3. • The contractor must deliver the tube, install it, and conduct training. • The old tube will be removed and placed in Rickover Hall for proper disposal by the Defense Logistics Agency.
