Description
The Port Authority of Allegheny County (doing business as Pittsburgh Regional Transit) is seeking a supplier to provide a concentrated floor‑scrubber liquid cleaning product and associated bulk dispensing equipment for a three‑year period. The contract will cover delivery of the concentrate (estimated ~7,000 gal based on a 1:250 dilution ratio) and 12 drums of ready‑to‑use product, as well as a Spartan‑type bulk dispenser system, installation, calibration, training, and ongoing technical support. Bidders must submit a firm per‑gallon price, include required insurance, meet extensive safety, labeling, and environmental regulations, and certify that no prohibited substances are present. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder; the contract is not split‑award and is exempt from Pennsylvania sales/use tax.
• Supply of concentrated floor‑scrubber cleaner (water‑miscible) and 55‑gal drums of ready‑to‑use product.
• Provide and install a bulk dispensing system (Spartan Tote with Hydro #511 Proportioner) and maintain spare parts.
• Deliver within 5 working days of purchase order, meet strict labeling, SDS, and environmental compliance, and provide 24‑hour technical response.
