The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) is seeking an interim sole‑source contract with its current vendor, Securus Technologies, to maintain telephone services for youth in custody while a new competitive procurement for a replacement inmate‑telephone system is being prepared and implemented. The contract is intended to bridge the gap and ensure uninterrupted communications, covering operation, maintenance, technical support, training, compliance, and transition activities. • Provides continuous operation and maintenance of the existing inmate telephone platform, including call processing, monitoring, recording, and reporting. • Delivers technical support, software updates, hardware upkeep, and staff training to ensure system reliability and regulatory compliance. • Offers transition support for migrating accounts and system settings to the forthcoming competitively‑awarded replacement system, preventing service disruption.
