Intent to Sole Source FY26 Wind Tunnel Training

The U.S. Army Parachute Team (USAPT) requires indoor skydiving wind tunnel training time for their Competition and Demonstration missions. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Paraclete XP Sky Venture LLC, as they are the only source capable of meeting the Government's minimum requirements. The requirements include a vertical flight chamber of at least 16.4 feet in diameter, the ability to conduct simultaneous training for up to 9 personnel, and a location within a 25-nautical-mile radius of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. • The contract will consist of a base year and four one-year option periods. • The service is critical for enabling repeated, controlled rehearsal of complex freefall maneuvers. • The facility must be located within a 25-nautical-mile radius of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. • The contract will be for 145 hours per year of indoor skydiving wind tunnel training time.
