Description
The VA is soliciting a firm‑fixed‑price contract to design, construct, and deliver a one‑story modular imaging center at its French Camp, CA, VA campus. The contractor will be responsible for demolition, site work, foundations, structural steel, exterior envelope, and all building‑systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low‑voltage, and site utilities) required to deliver a shell that the VA will finish with imaging equipment. The project must meet VA infection‑control standards, adhere to the California Davis‑Bacon wage determination, and be performed by a verified Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
• Demolition, grading, utility relocation, and construction of a ~2,500 sf modular building with full HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑protection, and low‑voltage infrastructure.
• All‑electric mechanical systems; integration with VA’s building automation and communications networks.
• Performance period of 557 calendar days, with monthly progress payments and required performance/bond guarantees.
• Mandatory compliance with VA Buy‑American, wage‑determination CA20260018, and OSHA safety requirements.
• Pre‑quote site visit on 29 Sept 2026 (optional but encouraged); RFI deadline 6 Oct 2026; final quote due 21 Oct 2026.
