REQ FOR PRE-QUAL OF VENDORS FOR ANIMAL FEED,BEDDING,SUPPLIES

The Palm Beach County Purchasing Department is seeking pre-qualified vendors to provide various types of animal feed, bedding, and supplies. The vendors will be required to provide a written quote on an as-needed basis, which shall include the price offered for each item, product name and number, and delivery days. The County user department(s) shall contact all applicable pre-qualified vendors and invite them to present a written quote. The vendors shall return the written price quote to the County user department within the specified timeframe. The County may return, at the expense of the vendor, any item(s) received which fails to meet the County's specifications or performance standards. Some key points to consider: • Vendors must have a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades to receive a local preference. • Vendors must submit a copy of all applicable Certificates of Competency and maintain a current Business Tax Receipt. • The County reserves the right to increase or decrease the anticipated value as necessary to meet actual requirements. • Pre-qualified vendors shall return their quotation no more than five business days after receipt of quotation unless otherwise specified.
