PROPERTY REVALUATION SERVICES

The Borough of Bergenfield is seeking a qualified appraisal firm to provide professional services for the complete revaluation of all real property within the Borough for tax equalization purposes. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a thorough revaluation of all properties, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The firm will also be required to provide taxpayer orientation and review, defend appeals, and perform other related tasks. The contract is expected to commence on October 1, 2026, and will be effective for the 2027 tax year. • The Borough is looking for a firm with experience in providing revaluation services to municipalities in New Jersey. • The firm should have a strong understanding of the New Jersey Division of Taxation and the Bergen County Board of Taxation requirements. • The firm should be able to provide a comprehensive revaluation plan, including a timeline and milestones. • The firm should be able to provide experienced personnel, including principals, supervisors, and field personnel. • The firm should be able to provide a detailed breakdown of costs and fees.
