The State of South Dakota is seeking qualified forest‑management contractors to perform a suite of treatments within Custer State Park during FY 2027. The work comprises three separate wind‑storm fuel‑reduction projects (totaling 125.1 acres), a pre‑commercial thinning effort (87.7 acres), and a mastication project (26.2 acres), all to be completed by 31 March 2027.
