Rural Transit Assistance Program (RTAP)

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to administer the Rural Transit Assistance Program (RTAP). This program aims to enhance the competence of rural transportation providers throughout Wisconsin, including demand-response and fixed route bus services, shared-ride taxi programs, volunteer driver programs, work centers, and medical providers. The primary tasks under the contract include conducting relevant training courses, administering a training/professional development scholarship program, and maintaining a program website.
