RFB 2868-03 Grit Classifier

The City of Branson seeks a qualified contractor to supply, remove, install, and commission two shaft‑less grit classifiers at the Compton Drive Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope includes all labor, equipment, materials, tools, and incidental items necessary to safely remove existing units, install new equipment, mechanically align, wire, and fully commission the classifiers so they operate automatically, separating grit from wastewater streams and discharging dried grit into designated bins without leaks or excessive vibration. An “as‑equal” alternative may be considered if it meets the specified performance criteria. • Provide two complete shaft‑less grit classifier systems (including control panels, conveyors, and discharge bins). • Perform full removal of existing equipment, site preparation, mechanical alignment, electrical wiring, and commissioning. • Ensure the installed system operates automatically, meets vibration and leakage standards, and includes optional “as‑equal” equipment options. • Deliver all required labor, tools, incidental items, and documentation for operation and maintenance.
