The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to repaint the North Ohio Street Bridge and its associated fencing, applying high‑performance epoxy and fluoropolymer coating systems in accordance with strict SSPC/NACE standards. The scope includes surface preparation, removal of incompatible legacy paint, repair of fence pipe splits and tack‑welds, and final coating application to steel, aluminum, and concrete substrates. The contractor must also provide comprehensive QA submittals, attend pre‑application meetings, and participate in a one‑year post‑completion inspection.
• Full bridge repaint (deck, railings, fencing) using Tnemec® high‑performance systems
• Required surface‑prep: 3,500‑5,000 psi water‑blast, solvent cleaning, SSPC/NACE compliance
• New bid items: fence pole touch‑up removal (250 SF), longitudinal pipe split repairs (9 EA), wire‑mesh tack‑weld replacements (12 EA)
• Mandatory QA documentation (data sheets, certificates, samples) and coordination with utilities and coating manufacturer
