The Department of Corrections, Division of Health and Rehabilitation Services, is seeking a proposal for an Asbestos 40-Hour AHERA training course to be provided to inmate students at four correctional centers within the State of Alaska. The course aims to give students a thorough understanding of the potential hazards associated with asbestos site clean-up and the ability to identify, remove, pack, transport, or dispose of asbestos. The training will include lectures, films, and hands-on workshops.
