The Los Angeles County Internal Services Department is soliciting Request for Statement of Qualification (RFSQ) from Interpretation and Translation Service Providers for on-demand interpretation and translation services. The objective of this RFSQ is to increase the availability and quality of spoken and signed interpreter services, document translation, and provide county departments access to multiple languages. The scope of work includes providing over-the-phone interpretation services, video remote interpretation services, document translation services, in-person sign language interpretation services, in-person oral interpretation services, and miscellaneous interpretation and translation services. • The contract will be for a term of 5 years with two 2-year option periods and 6 month-to-month extensions. • The county will continuously accept SOQs throughout the duration of the master agreement to qualify vendors. • Vendors must have 3 years of experience providing services in each category they are attempting to qualify for. • Vendors must have the capability to provide reports in electronic format and have a secure web-based portal for receiving service requests. • The county reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs submitted in response to this solicitation.
